Customer update: A phased return at Vastern Timber

Following government advice to manufacturers regarding social distancing issued on 7 April, we’re pleased to announce that our sawmills resumed limited operations on Wednesday 15th April.  To keep everyone safe we are bringing back a limited team to service orders placed by phone or email only.

We are operating with a reduced team to maintain social distancing, and we accept orders at our discretion. We are limiting deliveries to those which can be operated with a forklift offload.

Please understand that unannounced visitors to either our Wootton Bassett or Studley sites cannot be received, and customers cannot self select wood from the sheds.

It is vital that customers call for an appointment before collecting so we can maintain social distancing and protect the health of our staff and customers. 

On arrival at either yard we will be asking customers to telephone before entering and then to stay with their vehicle. Please do not attempt to enter the offices or showroom.

Orders will be processed at our discretion, and while we will do our best to deliver, please bear with us as we adjust to the new government guidance on operating safely.
