Oak cladding for an artist’s bothy

Bothy Stores is a social enterprise producing Artist Bothys.  The bothy is a traditional, small shelter from the elements, usually set in an isolated location. The Bothy is brought into the 21st century by this enterprising team.

This example is clad with oak, a highly durable  timber cladding, supplied from our oak cladding range.

Timber Specification: The decking is air dried oak  (VDEC2 profile 21x95mm) and the cladding is air dried oak – VSP1 (splayed) profile 20x95mm.

This bothy is a modern cabin designed for simple living in rural or urban environments. The bothy store produce options of varying sizes to suit different contexts, all built to last a lifetime using the finest quality materials.

They are available as a flat-pack option to be assembled or can be delivered as a fully prefabricated building. (Access permitting)
